Something to share while I’m reading my e-mail…

Spare sometime to read… Worth the read till the end…

When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I’ve got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.
Suddenly I didn’t know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly.
She didn’t seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why?
I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn’t talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Dew. I didn’t love her anymore. I just pitied her!
With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company.
She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Dew so dearly. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now.
The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table. I didn’t have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Dew.
When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again.
In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn’t want anything from me, but needed a month’s notice before the divorce.
She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a month’s time and she didn’t want to disrupt him with our broken marriage.
This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day.
She requested that everyday for the month’s duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door ever morning. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request.
I told Dew about my wife’s divorce conditions… She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully.
My wife and I hadn’t had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mummy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don’t tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office.
On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn’t looked at this woman carefully for a long time.. I realized she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her.
On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me.
On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn’t tell Dew about this. It became easier to carry her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger.
She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger. I suddenly realized that she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily.
Suddenly it hit me… she had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart. Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head.
Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it’s time to carry mum out. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life. My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly; it was just like our wedding day.
But her much lighter weight made me sad. On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn’t noticed that our life lacked intimacy.
I drove to office…. jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind… I walked upstairs. Dew opened the door and I said to her, Sorry, Dew, I do not want the divorce anymore.
She looked at me, astonished, and then touched my forehead. Do you have a fever? She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Dew, I said, I won’t divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn’t value the details of our lives, not because we didn’t love each other any more. Now I realize that since I carried her into my home on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart.
Dew seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove away.
At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card.. I smiled and wrote, I’ll carry you out every morning until death do us apart.
That evening I arrived home, flowers in my hands, a smile on my face, I run up stairs, only to find my wife in the bed - dead.
The small details of your lives are what really matter in a relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the bank, blah..blah..blah. These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot give happiness in themselves.. So find time to be your spouse’s friend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy. Do have a real happy marriage! ^-^

On 9 April 2009, an important day to my Dear… A special to me… The story begin… =)

Early morning, I woke up and prepare to go work and wear formal dress as the night we going to Tower Club for dinner with Kelvin & Elaine. Around 7 plus, I received a sms from my Dear telling me that his not feeling well and going to see doctor. As usual, I will say ok and ask him to drink more water after seeing the doctor..

The day was as usual for me as I need to work and having lunch with my close lunch colleagues. In between, Dear did sms me that he just reach home and going to rest and his feeling better. I sms him back saying that if he is not feeling well, don’t go for the dinner as his health is more important but he said his feeling better and we need to go as the dinner is pay first in order to reserve the seat and I said ok..

6.15pm knock off, Dear came over to my office and fetch me for dinner. We set off to Raffles Place and went to Republic Plaza and took the lift to 62 level to Tower Club. That very high for me. =S We sat at the waiting area to wait for Kelvin & Elaine. Dear told me not everyone can enter Tower Club as there is Term & Conditions apply. So, I think we are lucky.

Once Kelvin & Elaine has reach, the waiter show us the way to Atlantic Dinning Room, to attend the Exclusive Dinners with Chef Paco Roncero. He is only in Singapore for 2 days, if go Spain to attend the dinner, you need to reserve 3 months in advance cause his reservation always full. =S   He is also Edward Voon’s teacher. I’m lucky to attend the dinner. =)

The place were posh, quiet and nice, our dinner was serve in a short while. We have Cocktail - interesting & sour appetizer, Tapas - interesting & special starters, soft & fragrances complimentary bread, Platos - interesting & nice main course, Postres - special & nice desserts. =)

While having the desserts, suddenly the supervisor of the club brought a box of Red Roses with Tiara to me. I was “Huh ?” and the supervisor smile and want me to take the box of roses. I look at my Dear and the rest, they will smiling. I accept the box of roses, Dear took out a present for me and said it early celebration of our Anniversary. I was “Huh ?” that is about 1 month later. Isn’t too early? Hmm… I open the present. To my surprised it a blue pendent of necklace from Swarovski. =) It very nice and I like it. Dear help me to put the pendent necklace on my neck. =)

Dear suddenly said he want to go to the gents, I was said ok. While Kelvin was eating, I was chatting with Elaine.  When Dear came back, he hold a bouquet of White Lily flowers on his hand. I was again “Huh ?”, what is he doing? He is very rich? He pass the flowers to me, inside there is a pouch he ask me to open the pouch. Inside there is a Diamond Ring. I began to smile. =) He began to asked if I will marry him? I smile and said ” No “. He and his friends were shocked and he asked why ? I reply because he never knee down while asking me the question. Dear stand up, push the chair behind and he knee down and asked me if I will marry him? I keep on smile as I don’t know what I should say, few seconds later… I said ” Yes ” and node my head. He wear the ring on my left hand 4th finger and we hug together. =)

So actually, he wasn’t sick on that day. He has already plan this 2 weeks ago, applied his leave on Monday. So that morning he can do all the stuff, collect the flowers, call the chef regarding his plan, went to the Tower Club in the afternoon to put the flowers in club first. I was really shocked and surprised. Didn’t expect it as I though maybe he will do it on May. =P

We took photo with Chef Paco Roncero cause it very rare chance. After the dinner, we went outside to take photos of the places together with the flowers and Dear sent me home. =) After reaching home, a bit regret cause never ask my Dear give me 3 reasons why I should marry him? And sing a song for me. Hehe.. Anyway it ok, will do it when it our wedding. =P

Thanks to my Dear for all the efforts, flowers, gift and ring. I am very very happy, surprised and touched. =) Thanks to Vivian for intro the jewellery shop,  Jeremy, Kelvin & Elaine for helping my Dear with the ideas, surprise, keeping the secerts and be the witness.  ^-^

Suppose to wake up around 7.30am, end up woke up at 7.50am as my alarm didn’t ring..  =S Faster went to bath and prepare everything and took bus to Tampines meet Peter as today my team in our company having team building event. =D

Hmm… waited for Peter awhile and we went to take bus 31 to East Coast park… Reach Marine Parade walk to East Coast park’s Mac and meet the rest of the team members. I had a med cup of ice milo. =)

Soon Reach 10am.. we went to east coast park for a gorup photo and briefing, all our team members has came to except for 1. It ok, without him we sure still be fun. =P My Team is Team D, I have Daniel & Peter same team with me and I was kena sabo to become the team leader. =S After the briefing, we have a cut and paste game which is use spoon to pass the ping pong ball through mouth without using our hands. After that we got the map and start our treasure hunt game.

At first all of us not very sure what are the things we need to find as the clue since difficult, after that we try our best and find all the things and faster go back to the meeting points. =) My Team were the sec group to reach but still must depend if we got all the stuff correct. =) After rest and waiting for the rest of the team to come back. We had our lunch at around 1.15pm, it was nasi bryani with drink and dessert.

Lunch was not bad, very big and value for money but I couldn’t finish. At around 1.45pm time to submit our treasure hunt answer and see if we could get it all correct. Hmm… So far we got most of the things correct… =) When they announce the winning team as Team D, we will very happy. Hehe.. .Thanks to my Team for the help. =D It was a nice and fun team building but was very tired and I kena sunburn. =P

After everything, hop on to a collegue’s car to Tampines and took bus to Dear’s house… Wash up and went to rest. =P Around 7pm we went to Hougang for dinner.. Not bad.. but feel like today weather is very hot, keep on sweating.. =P After dinner, Dear send me home.. Is 8.30pm Earth Hour. I was looking around to see if most of the residence support it.

When I reach home, glad that my family did support this event to off light for 1 hour. =) Hmm… but was abit disappointed as most of the people didn’t take part. Based on the news, Australia is the first country to off the light, follow by the rest of the country. Singapore there is some part of places do support too… But I hope that more people will join in this event in future. =) Going off… Bye… ^-^

ThE WoRLd FiRsT GloBaL ELeCtIOn BeTwEeN EaRtH aNd GloBaL WArMiNg

4 months never write blog, getting more and more busy … more and more lazy too… Keke… =P

Hmm… has passed the Christmas celebration, New Year 2009 celebration, Chinese New Year 2009 celebration and Valentines 2009. Hmm.. It getting less fun due to the recession. Lots of company has close down, lots of people are jobless.. Just hope everything will be back to normal.. Life will be better… =)

On 27 Feb, Dear’s birthday.. Morning woke up went to buy some stuff. Reach home around 9 plus and prepare to go out. Around 11.20am, Dear has came to fetch me. I gave 2 small strawberry sweetheart cake for Dear as a little suprised. Off we went down to town area for lunch.

We went to Sage as it Dear’s favourtie restaurant. =) After order the food, complimentary bread were served, we just seat down, relax and wait for our food to be served. Cool~! Nobody else were there for lunch. It seem like we have booked the place. =P

Soon our appetizers were served it was nice, follow by soups. It my favorite mushroom soup kind of special but abit salty as I guess it due to my throat not feeling well that why I feel salty. After that mains were served and follow by desserts. We got a complimentary dessert as the owner know it Dear’s birthday. Hehe… =P Lunch was not bad, service were good. Yup~! =)

After lunch, we went down to singapore flyer to Kenko sign up for fish spa & shoulder massage package. First time try the fish spa, before enjoying the spa need to wash the feet till knee area. After that, we can choose the place to sit. It was very interesting as the fish seem like super hungry they follow where you go. =P I couldn’t really enjoy the shoulder massage as I was laughing all the way cause the fish tickel me whenever I try to put my feet in. Lol..

After that I manage to put my feet in and enjoy the spa. =) The shoulder massage were kind of pain as they said I’m too stress and ask me to relax. After the massage we are able to move around to the rest of the section as there are 3 section with different fishes inside. =)

The middle section fishes were kind of big and hungry too. Hehe… When I put my feet in, I couldn’t stop laughing again. We got complimentary tea too. Hehe.. So good. Soon, lots of tourist came in. Some were just looking, some were trying for 10mins. =P After that, we try the last section, the fishes were small and the way they bite is like vibrating fishes. We were like the models of the shop as we are facing outside the shop and all the tourist pass by were stop and look at us. It was fun and were enjoy the spa. =)

After the spa, we went around awhile and went to compass point took Dear’s birthday cake from four leaves and went back to Dear’s house first. Around 7pm, we went out with his mum and elder sister to fetch his grandmother and went down to Changi for dinner. Dear’s Dad, younger sister and boyfriend had reach the place.

When we enter the place, again it seem like we have booked the whole place. Hehe… =P After order all the food, we took a few photos.. =) Soon, food were served and we start eating. Overall the food was ok.. Till 9 plus, we send his grandmother home first and went home to cut cake. Before cutting the cake, we took a few photos and sang birthday song to Dear. =) After that, we have a small slice of cake. At around 11 plus went to sleep. Hmm… Hope Dear has a wonderful day. God Bless. ^-^

Hmm… This year birthday kind of different.. Yah… Cause… Dear is not with me.. He is away for training at Bangkok… =(   Hmm… No Choice… It ok..

On 23 Oct 2008, a normal busy working day.. It lunch time, suddenly my lunch partners want to go out and have lunch. I though they were kidding but it true. =P   Cath, Vian, Qian and me share cab to Tampines Mall, at first though of having Long John but too crowded so we change to Mos Burger. =)

We order 4 burgers, 1 large fries, 5 pieces of Chicken nuggets & 5 pieces of lemon mussels. We also brought 1 box of prawn takopachi. Keke… 4 girls eat so many foods… Sinful.. Lolx… After having the lunch, qian and I went to buy bubble tea while Cath and Vian still eating…

After buying the bubble tea, we went to taxi stand. I was wondering how come it took them so long to come over and I called them. Later I saw Cath and Vian coming and I saw them holding a box with cake. Hmm.. Something wrong.. keke… Reach office do our work and later I know the cake is for me. So sweet of them. Keke… =D

Around 4.50pm, we start to the cut cake session. =D   Cath, Vian and Qian did some drawing on the board. They brought a swensen special cake.. Keke… After that Alvin came in too and we start to take a few photos and sing birthday song. Keke.. The ice-cream cake was really very cold and nice.. Yup, after that back to work. Keke…

On 25 Oct 2008, Morning woke up early… prepare stuff, bath and make up. Waiting for Dear to come. =)   Vivan and Xiao Qian meeting me at my house so that we will go Tung Lok at East Coast for dim sum buffet. =)

Around 11.30am, Dear has reach my house and I’m preparing to go down meet him. Vian and Qian also has reach, when the lift reach my house level door open. I saw Vian and Qian, they said they suppose to give me a suprised, end up I gave them a shocked. Keke… =P  

We went down together, board the car and we went all the way down to east coast. =)   Reach Tung Lok around 12pm, we went in and start to order some of the dim sum while waiting for Vivian’s BF Andy.. Soon, Andy came and we begin to order more food. We were happily chatting.. =)   The food there was ok but the service wasn’t good. They should improve their service and food too. After the dim sum buffet, Andy and Vian sent Qian to Orchard. As for us, we went to Vivo City.

After the buffet, Dear and I were sleepy.. Keke… But, we can’t go back and sleep. =P   Reach Vivo, wanted to watch movie but there wasn’t any nice movie. So we went around walk walk.. I saw a bag which I like but it was very ex to me, didn’t buy.. After that we went to Starbucks buy a coffee to drink and slack.. Hmm.. since like there is nothing for us to buy and no where to go… After that Dear bring me to Mount Faber Park to see see as I didn’t went there before. When I was young there is but can’t remember. =P

When we reach the place, look down it does remind us the day when we were at Perth. =)   Happy… After that around 5 plus we went down to Chinatown as Dear booked a place at there for dinner. So weird, Chinatown what there to eat??? After we park the car went around walk walk again. He gave me the hit of the place we going to have dinner and I guess correct. It taste paradise, heard that the food is good but ex.. =P

Dear booked 7pm but there is no where for us to go so we decide to go in early. Lucky, they willingly let us go in early. =)   When we step in the place, I love the place alot, we were the first customer. Hehe… After looking at the menu, we decided to order the taste paradise famous five and extra dish XO fried carrot cake. =)  

Soon food were served, the carrot cake were good. =)   Follow by double-boiled shark’s fin soup with bacon and spring roll. Omg.. it a must try dish, it really very nice and yummy. I love it, I wanted to try this dish very long ago. =D   After that follow by Baked cod fish, Baked lamb, ramen with whole abalone… Although I’m very full but I still can taste the food is really good.. Soon, Dear took out the present and gave me.. =)   It a diamond barcelet from Heart to Heart Jewellery and a birthday card. I ask Dear to help me put on. =)   I like it.. hehe…

Later, dessert were served.. It mango pomelo.. It nice. The manager suppose to change the my dessert to Aleo vera but end up is mango. So, he gave me another dessert. keke… The aleo vera were sweet, sour and refreshing. So good.. After the nice meal, it bill time.. Wah~! It really not cheap. =S   But, the food is really nice and good. Serivce is really very good too. I will go back again. =)

After the meal, we went back home. When I enter the room. I saw a dozen of colourful roses. Keke… it another suprised from him.. There is blue, pink, dark pink, red, peach, lavender, white and yellow roses.. It nice.. =D   Around 10 plus start to cut cake with his family members. Dear brought a rose fantasy chocolate cake from Prima Deli. The cake look nice.. Keke… After sing song, cut cake and we try the cake. It not bad as it has lots of hazelnuts inside. After the cake, wash up and went to sleep.. Tomorrow need to sent Dear to Airport as he need to go Bangkok for training.. .sob… sad…

On 26 Oct 2008, Morning around 6.30am woke up.. prepare and went to airport with Dear… Hmm.. I really feeling moody and sad but I have no choice.. Can’t stop him from going… =’(   Reach airport, check in.. Dear, his sis and me went to Mac to have breakfast..

Soon, it around 9.30am… It time for him to go in… We sent him off… Looking at him all the way till I can’t see him… His sis meeting friends to study… As for me.. I went off alone to take bus home… Reach home around 10am… unpacked my stuff… and I went to rest…. At 1pm Dear sms me said he had reach Bangkok… Around 1.30pm I woke up… Although I have sleep very long but actually… the time pass very slow… maybe is Dear not around… Sob…

After wake up… I slack awhile and went to bath… around 3pm.. My mum accompany me to Tampines mall shopping. Hmm.. I’m trying to keep myself busy.. After looking around, I brought a bag and some fancl stuff.. total around $110. Yup.. After that we went home, my mum cook the dinner… After 8 plus, I manage to chat online with Dear… I’m worried about him over there… We chat till around 11 plus.. I went to do my stuff.. around 12am, I went to sleep…

On 27 Oct 2008, It my birthday… morning woke up around 9 plus… wash up, around 10plus my mum cook mee sua for me to eat. =)   After that online all the way till 11am… slack till 1.30pm, went to bath.. My mum and I went to chinatown.. to her friend’s shop which sell clothes… Reach chinatown around 3pm… we went to grab some bite.. and went to her friend’s shop… =)

I tried alot of clothes.. top, bottom and dress.. After trying for about 2 hours.. I finally brought 2 dress and 2 top.. =)   Apart of it is the gifts is from my mum. =)   Around 5plus, we went back to home.. At whitesand we went to brought a chocolate cake from Bengawan solo and some bubble tea for my brothers.. We order pelican pizza for dinner.. =)

Reach home around 7pm… drink soup which my mum have cook… around 7.30pm pizza has arrived, we have the pizza and watch tv programme all the way till 9.30pm.. Cut cake time.. My Dad is at oversea working… But, he did call back and we sing birthday song together.. I have took some photos with my family members… and uploading the photos…  Around 11pm… tired… time to go sleep… -_- Zzzz…

Thanks to my Dear, family members, close lunch buddies and friends for all the suprised, cakes and wishes… ^-^   I hope Dear will come back soon…

Morning woke up around 9.30am… tired as last nite I have attend Winnie’s Wedding. Happy for them. It the 8th time I have attend wedding dinner within this year. Lolx…  slack all the way till 11.30am and went to bath… =P   After bath ate 1 egg tart and 1 piece of prata. =P   After that around 12pm went to Raffles Place meet my cousin and his friends for lunch. =)   The weather was super hot. =S

Around 1.15pm reach, saw him and his friends. Total four of us, we went to Pasta Fresca at Boat Quay. It my first time. =)   I wasn’t really hungry so I order a tomato base seafood soup, while my cousin and his friends order pasta. Suddenly, it started to rain. =P

The soup was not bad. I like it. While my cousin they all were ok with the foods too. After the meal, they order some desserts to share. We chit chat about places we have travel and work life all this. Around 3pm we decide to go off as I’m meeting Dear at City Hall.  It nice chatting with them. =) 

Reach City Hall saw Dear and we went around to walk walk… We went to Marina Square.. Hmm.. Not sure how long didn’t went to Marina Square but lots of shop has already close down and change. =S   Nothing really much to buy… But we went to Muji brought few packets of chocolates. Keke… =P 

After that we went to Suntec City and walk walk… Haha.. also nothing to buy. Around 5.30pm we walk to City Hall Mrt Station as we going Changi Village meet my family for dinner. =)   As to early celebrate my birthday cause my Dad need to fly here and there no time to can’t back celebrate my birthday. Anyway, it ok. Reach Pasir Ris, we went to Q up for Taxi, it took us about 20 mins to board the taxi. =S   Reach Changi Village around 6.45pm saw my family and dinner was served.

My parents order lots of stuff, the ingredients were fresh but the way they cook wasn’t really nice. Hmm.. I still feel the Zhi Cha at my house downstair still the best. Keke… =P   After dinner my parents stay to have some drinks, as for us we went to take bus and go home together. Reach Loyang point area we get down, Dear continue the trip.

Reach home, bath, slack awhile… going to sleep. A nice and happy day, just that it too hot.  ^-^

On 17 Oct 2008, it a busy and happy day. =P   Busy with work stuff and happy cause having a gathering with the Janice, Shanice, Sok Leng and Ann. Yup Yup~! =)

After busying clearing all the work stuff. We leave on the dot as Ann has came over to meet Catherine, Xiao Qian and Me, drive us down to Bugis together. =)   We reach Bugis around 7pm. We have make a reservation 7.30pm at Ma Maison. Though of going in to sit down and wait for the rest but they said the table was still not ready. So we went to find Janice and Sok Leng.

We chat till around 7.35pm and went to Ma Maison again. Hmm.. the place was very packed. Even we have make reservation we still have to wait before seated. Hmm… nvm…Later Shanice came, all of us were hungry so we faster decide what to order. =P   Total 7 of us, we order alot of foods, start to chit chat and taking photos. =P

About 15 minutes later our foods were served. Ma Maison is a Fusion Japanese western style. The cheese foods were nice and sinful. lolx… Hamburger steak were good, pizza, chicken, pork cutlet were good too. Except for the seafood platter. The rice taste uncooked, the chief said it should be like this. All of us don’t like. =P 

After the dinner, we have 2 brownies with ice-cream and took alot of funny photos. =P   It to celebrate Janice and mine birthday. =p   The brownies were not bad. Yup~! It a not bad dinner. After a sinful dinner, we went to TopOne Ktv. Sok Leng and Ann didn’t join us. Left 5 of us and we went in first while Janice’s son Shawn is on the way.

First time went to the Ktv, it was not bad but not all the song they have. We started to sing and having fun. When shawn came, start to sing too… Hmm… I was tired and I went to Sleep awhile. =P   Sing all the way till 1.30am, it time to go home. Cath and I share cab together. Reach home around 2am, wash up, do mask and went to sleep. what a tired, happy and fun day. ^-^

I guess this is my longest post so far. Keke… =P    Dear and I always wish to go holiday together and we finally get to travel together, actually we were daring only 2 of us and it the first time both of us going and driving around. =P    After the booking of the air tickets, hotels and car rental. Our trip began on 4 Sep till 10 Sep 2008. =D

On 4 Sep 2008, morning woke up do the last minute pack up to see if there is anything I have miss out. After that went to bath and wait for Dear’s parents came to fetch me. =)   Around 1.30pm, they came and we went to Changi Airport Budget Terminal. Keke…

As Dear got the best deal online so we took Tiger Airways to Perth. =P   Hmm… I have heard lots of comments about the plane. But, It ok. When we reach the budget terminal it look really different from the rest of the terminal. Lolx…  We grab some bite before we went in. Dear’s whole family came to sent us. But none of mine came. Abit sad but it ok. I know they all were busy. After taking some of the photos with Dear’s family and said goodbye, it time for us to go in. =)

It my first time taking plane and travel to other country apart from Malaysia. Yes, I swear. I gave my first time to Tiger Airways and my Dear. Lolx… I’m actually worried more than excited. Keke… After pass through the customs. We went to Duty Free area buy magazine before we board the plane. We were the first few infront. Soon, start to go in, show them our boarding pass and Q up before we board the plane. I was abit excited. We got our seat number as Dear didn’t want to have the free seating in case we seat different place. =)

Hmm… the plane departure at 3.50pm and we were told to fasten seat belt. When the plane fly, I was worried and hold on to Dear’s hand as I was really scared. First time my palm sweat. =S    When we get on top, we saw the view of Singapore. It very nice. =)   We purchase some of the foods, surprise us it was not bad. Yeah~! It took us 5 hours to reach Perth. The plane was abit small, couldn’t stretch our leg. Both of us didn’t get to sleep, just reading magazine and chatting. =)

We reach Perth around 9.10pm, landing was ok for me. =)    When we reach the airport we were told no foods are allow to bring in to Perth, if there is any we need to throw away if not the customs staff will throw for you. After pass through all the customs. Welcome to Perth~! =D   Yeah~! When we walk out the airport, it was cooling around 19 degree. We took a taxi to our Sullivans Hotel. The Taxi driver was Asian, he was very nice and friendly, intro us stuff around Perth. =)

Soon, we reach the hotel. The fare was 35AUD =S   Check In the hotel, get our room key and we took lift up. Hmm… The room looks kind of simple. Anyway, it ok for me. =)    After unload our stuff, change and we went to sleep around 11plus. =)

On 5 Sep 2008, Dear and I not use to it. Both of us woke up around 2am, 4am in the morning as we though we have slept too long. But we were wrong, time pass slowly and we went back to sleep again. =S    Around 6.30am the sun has rise and it began to be very bright. We woke up, bath and prepare. Around 8am, went down to our hotel for buffet breakfast. Each person is 18AUD. =S

The breakfast were very health, different types of cereals, milk, fruits, fruit juices, bread, jams, tea, coffee, hams and bacon. It good and nice. =D    After fill up our stomach, it time for us to go out walk walk and get our car. =)    The moment I step out of the hotel, cold wind blow. So cold. =SLucky i got wear jacket and bring windbreaker. I’m scared of cold. Keke…

It a weekday, lots of people are rushing to work. We saw traffic jam along the way. Actually the car rental place is far from our hotel. Instead of taking bus we walk all the way. It about few KM?? Along the way, we enjoy the places of Perth. To our surprised, we only spent about 45mins to reach as we though it will be longer for us. =P

We went to Baywater get the car. After Dear got the car key, we went to find our car. It cool, clear and new. Nice car but there is no GPS, we have no choice to use map and hoping everything will be fine. hehe… We went to pump petrol and went down to Harbour Town Shopping Centre. It their factory outlet. Lots of stuffs over there but we didn’t buy alot of stuff cause abit ex. Keke… After shopping we went to buy smoked salmon sandwich, coffee, chilli cheese hotdog, beef burger and chocolate slice cake to King’s Park for Pinic. =D

We reach King’s Park, park the car and went down to find place sit down for our lunch. The foods were fresh, yummy and good. =)   The view from King’s Park were very nice. I loved it alot. =)   After finish some of the foods, we took some photos and went on to look for wildflowers. As it the wildflowers season. Yeah~! We saw alot of nice wildflowers which can’t be found in SG. It really very beautiful and nice. =D

After that, we went to walk walk and relax around the park, enjoy the view. Till around 4plus, we went back to our hotel and rest awhile. Hmm.. not sure what to have for dinner so we went to near by shop brought some water, wine, potato chips and some cup noodles for dinner. Keke… Not that bad. =P    After dinner we watch TV program. Around 9 plus went to sleep. =)

On 6 Sep 2008, as usual Dear and I have woke up afew times and went back to sleep again. Till 6 plus, woke up and bath. I have prepare coffee for Dear and myself. It not bad.=)   After that we went out to check with the hotel staff for direction way to Fremantle. They were friendly and told us where to go on the map.=)

Along the way down to Fremantle, we saw alot of nice views too. =)   Reach Fremantle, park the car and we walk down to shop. As I was hungry, Dear and I decide to go Fremantle Bake house for breakfast. We order 1 cup of hot chocolate, pancakes with maple syrup, beef mushroom pie with salad. The hot chocolate was nice. When the pancakes came, we were shocked. It was very big. Haha.. .omg… if we know, we wouldn’t order the beef mushroom pie. Anyway, it was ok. The food was good too. Keke…

After a heavy breakfast, we walk around Fremantle markets, there have lots of stuff like clothes, stones, tea leaves, honey, jewellery, foods, fruits and lots more.  We take notes the stuffs we want to buy. We saw strawberry. It look fresh and sweet. Not very ex and we bought 1 box of it. =D   Walk and walk, we saw people at the Town hall having eleclation Poll. All the way down till Canon Tower to understand the history of the tower. Everyday 1pm they will have the firing sessions. It was beautiful and nice. =)   After that carry on walking, along the way we took alot of photos. =)   We saw seagulls fighting for fries. Keke…  After that, it lunch time. We went to Cicerello’s for lunch, as we heard that their food were good. We try their Western Aus No.1 best fish & chips and Chilli mussels. We place the order they will give us a pending order chip. When our order is ready it ring and vibrate inform us collect the food.

The food was really very good, fresh and tasty. We loved it. =D    After lunch, we slowly walk back to the places buy our stuffs and around 4 plus, we went to Leighton Beach and walk walk relax. =)    After taking a few photos, we decided to go back to our hotel and rest awhile.

Around 7pm, Dinner time.. We drove down to South Perth to have dinner at Oyster Bar. Abit disappointed as they were fully booked and we didn’t make any booking. So we walk down along the road to see if they is anywhere we can have dinner. We spot a Japanese Restaurant, looks not bad and we decided to have dinner inside.

We order a assorted sashimi, chicken teriyaki set and seafood soup set. The assorted sashimi was not bad. It our first time ate half cooked raw sashimi. Interesting. Keke…  Chicken teriyaki set came with a bowl of salad, rice. Not bad. =P   For the seafood soup it has lots of fresh seafood inside, it came with a bowl of rice too. Not too bad but the soup is kind of abit too sweet. After the dinner, we went into a shop which sell lots of wine. We brought 1 bottle of white wine and drove back to our hotel. The white wine wasn’t really that nice to me. Keke… And we watch the mummy return till 11 plus and went to sleep. =)

On 7 Sep 2008, morning woke up around 6 plus. Happy~! As both of us manage to sleep through the whole night till morning. =D    After that bath and I made coffee for Dear. =)    I’m actually surprised to see that they actually have a channel for Christian as Sunday service. I guess is for those people who couldn’t go down for the service. After that we pack all our stuff as we going to check out the hotel. After check out and bring our stuff to the car. We took a few photos around the hotel area. We park the car at the hotel first as we going for a cruise tour. =)

We walk all the way to Swan Bell Tower… Along the way we saw a black swan and faster took photo. Keke… When reach Swan Bell Tower, took a few photos and brought the tickets for Fremantle Lunch Cruise. Duration was 2hour 45 mintues. Each person is 61.50AUD. Keke… Yeah~! We board the cruise at around 10.40am and went all the way up to second level sit at the back as to see the view of the swan river. =D    It very beautiful, we took photos of the view.

Around 11am the curise start and slowly it became cold. Dear and I decide to go down first level and seat infront. =P   Along the way to Fremantle, the captain intro us all the expensive houses along the river. How long it took to bulit and how much does it cost. Omg… It very expensive. =P    We also saw Pelican too. =D

Reach Fremantle, lots of people get off and lots of people board on too… Dear and I were hungry as we waited for the Lunch buffet to start. Around 12.45pm they start the buffet. There is salads, potatoes, fruits, breads, hams, prawns, pasta, curry rice. We get eat everything, the food was good. The prawns is the best. =)    After lunch, Dear and I went to the front of the cruise to enjoy the view and took photo. =)    Around 1.45pm we reach Swan River Bell and went around walk awhile..

After that, we walk back to Sullivans Hotel to get the car. Around 2.30pm, we start to drive all the way down to Margaret River. We drove along the country side and saw alot of horses, cows, sheep. I saw a few kangaroo too. =)   We also pass by lot of wineries. Till Bunbury, we stop to pump petrol and we were not very sure are we at the correct road to Margaret River. Lucky the staff were helpful to show us the way.

As usual along the way saw lots of farm. But, the sky is getting dark and we still couldn’t find Margaret River. Both of us getting worried and pull off along the information bay and check the map. But, it doesn’t show us the way. We continue drive, when we cross the river we saw our hotel Adamsons. Thank God we finally reach the place after 3hr 30 minutes drive. We faster went in, park our car and check in, purchase 1 set of breakfast. The staff were about to leave as they don’t have 24hour service but there is emergency number.

When she show us our room, we were surprised and happy. The room was really beautiful, clean, big and nice. =D   There is fridge, microwave, reverse cycle air conditioning. Really cool. We went to bring our stuff in and unpacked our stuffs. The place were really dark so we decided not to go out for dinner as we not sure around the places. We manage to borrow 5 DVD, wash up and we watch the show till 11 plus and went to sleep. =)

On 8 Sep 2008, Hmm… As usual Dear and I woke up around 1am and went back to sleep again. =P    Around 6.30am sunrise we woke up, bath and have our breakfast. Nice breakfast as it was really health. =D    After our breakfast, time to explore around Margaret River. =D

We drove all the way to Augusta and see Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse. =)    When we reach the area, park the car, purchase the free and easy tickets to walk around. We didn’t get to go up the lighthouse as need to pay more. =P    We get to see the history of the lighthouse, see the point where two oceans Southern Ocean and India Ocean meet. =)    It very nice and I feel it worth it to come all the way see the view. Yeah~! After taking photos around the lighthouse, we drove down to cave road to visit other tourist attractions places. =)

We went to Jewel Cave and purchase the 11.30am tour, each person is 19AUD. We can’t go down ourselves as we need tour guide to guide us and explain to us.  Yup.. We waited for about 15 minutes and our tour began. When we went down it was cold along the way and the handle is wet and moist. =S

The cave was really big and deep. =D   The tour guide intro us how the stone was form. To our surprised, it actually water. It has lots of shape like wedding cake, carrots, corals, cucumber. Keke.. . We have walk about 500 steps and 700m long and the tour is about 1 hour plus. When we walk back to the top, I was breathless as at the bottom there is no place for me to catch the breath.=P    It really interesting. I’m glad that we have came for the tour. =D

After the Jewel cave, We continue drive down along cave road to other places. Hmm, along the way we pass by alot of Wineries for wine tasting but didn’t go in. If you drive, it better not to drink. It around lunch time and both of us were hungry. Keke… We decided to go back Margaret River, park the car back at the hotel and walk around the town. =)    Walking around the town, we decided to have our lunch at Swell.

We order a cup of coffee, chicken sandwich and beef burger. The Coffee was very bitter but it taste not bad. The chicken sandwich bread both side is toasted with garlic, chicken with veg, bacon, cheese and lots of chips. It taste good. For the beef burger were tasty and juicy and has lots of veg with chips. Taste good too. =D

After lunch we walk around the town. =)    We went to have Simmos’s mango ice cream. It really good and it has award winning too. Happy~! =D   After finish the ice cream we went to into shops and look around. Finally we went to a shop and brought some gifts, while paying for the gifts. I saw them giving free Iron Ore ring. Cool~! Dear and I, each choose 1 as our couple ring. Keke… If I’m not wrong other places they sell the ring for 3.99 - 9.99 AUD. After that we went to check out their supermarkets. It really big and lots of fresh foods. We brought a big bottle of apple juice. After that brought 2 bottles of wine. =) After shopping, we walk back to our hotel and put of stuff down and rest. =)

Around 7.00pm, we decided to Spaghetti Bowl for dinner. At first Dear said walk over to the restaurant but I don’t think it safe so we drive up. I wanted Dear to park infront of the restaurant but he miss and wanted to park behind the carpark. Omg… When we turn in, it very dark and dangerous, can’t even see anything behind us and he decided to drive out and park outside the restaurant.

When we went in, to our surprised there is lots of people.=)   I have craving for soup so we order a spicy tomato soup, maron bisque and creamy seafood spaghetti and a small glass of wine.

The wine is abit too sweet and strong. =p   The soup is thick and good, the maron bisque is tomato based with lots of mussel, scallop, fish, prawn, squid and last but not least is maron margaret river famous seafood. It abit sour and really very nice. =D   For the creamy seafood spaghetti, it came in a very big bowl has lots of seafood too, the spaghetti taste just nice, chewy and not overcooked. =)    We don’t have the room for dessert as both of us were full. =P   After dinner, we went back to our hotel, wash up, watch dvd, enjoy the wine and went to sleep as tomorrow we are going to a tour. =D

On 9 Sep 2008, morning we woke up around 7am, bath, watch news and prepare. We going to Winery, Gallery & Brewery Tour with Neil Mcleod. From 9.30am till 4.30pm, each person is 85AUD. Around 9am, we went to around our hotel garden and took some photos. Keke.. .Yeah… around 9.40am the tour bus came…

Neil Mcleod is our tour guide and the driver of the day. All were married couple except for us. We are the young couple. Keke..  Total 9 of us including the Neil. Our first place is to visit the gallery of Aus most famous cartoonist Paul Rigby’s work. He has passed away about 18 months ago as he dream of Peacock and drew it, 1 week after he finish his art work and left. The picture of the peacock is his last master piece. His art work were interesting as it will has a boy and a dog in his art work. =)

After visit the gallery, we went to Leeuwin Estate to visit their winery. We get to look around their history and get to taste about 7 different type of wines. Some were nice, some were not to me. After tasting, taking photos we went to Brown Hill to visit their winery. We get to taste 7 different type of wines too but I didn’t try all as I can’t really take it. =P   Dear brought a bottle of white wine Autumn Mist late havest for 17AUD. It not bad. =)   Along the way, I went to sleep as I drank too much and too tired. Lolx…

We reach Cowaramup Brewey for lunch, Dear brought a set of 5 different taste of beer. Some were nice, some were not to me. =P   After that our lunch were served. We share chicken and grill fish set with lots of chips and greens. The chicken were nice with bacon, cheese and tomato sauce. Grill fish is abit light not too oily. Both were nice. =)   After lunch, we went down to Lost Port Winery to try some of the wine too… We have fun over there as the owner wanted to intro his son to me. Lolx… The view were very nice. =)   After that we went to Lenton Brae Estate to try other wines too. Keke… We have try more than 30 different types of wine. I like sweet wine. =)

After all the wine tasting, we went to chocolate factory and we brought a few  different type of chocolate back. I guess I’m the only one who brought the most. Keke… =P    After that we went to Olio Bello is a place which sell lots of different types of olive oil and sauce. It nice but ex so we never buy. =P    We rest awhile at the area and went down to Venison Farm. We saw a few venison and they sold lots of venison stuff. Yup~! After that Neil drove us to Margaret River to see the sea.

When we reach there then I realize why we should came Margaret River, the place is really worth to see as their sea is really clear blue and we manage to see whales. Both our left and right, it really cool. I’m really happy. =)    After that, Neil drove each of us back to our accommodation. Our tour end around 5.30pm. Our tour group members were very friendly and good, they came from New Zealand, Sydney and Russell. Neil is a very nice tour guide along the way he will talk to us, intro places to us. I will sure recommend him. =)

After we reach our hotel, we rest till 7pm and went to Spaghetti Bowl again for dinner as both of us really like the place. We order Reef & Beef and Garlic Prawn with wild rice. The Reef & beef were really good, beef were fresh, juicy, thick, it has few prawns and scallops with potato. The Garlic prawn with wild rice came with a bowl of fresh salad. The prawn were fresh, Wild rice goes well with the sauce. We can say the food is good and staff were very friendly. =)

After dinner, we drove back to hotel. Wash up, watch dvd, try some of the chocolate crisp slice. It really very good as it the last packet which we have brought. Keke… Around 11 plus we went to sleep as the next day we going back to Perth and SG.

On 10 Sep 2008, morning around 7am we woke up. Bath and prepare to pack all our stuff. Around 9am, we check out the hotel and gave the staff the apple juice and 1 and half bottle of wine as we can’t finish the wine and can’t bring back to SG. =( The staff were very friendly as she know I like the soft mint sweet she gave a small bag to me. I’m so touched and happy. =)

After saying goodbye we drove down to Dunsborough to Cape Natualiste Lighthouse. When we reach the Cape Naualiste Lighthouse, we didn’t went in as it look smaller and there isn’t any free and easy tour. We went back to Dunsborough for breakfast. We wanted to eat Chicken Treat fast food but they haven’t open for business so we brought cheese hotdog, chicken roll and bacon & egg sandwich from the pertol kisok, it expensive, no choice but the food were good. =P

After fill up our stomach we went on Bussell highway all the way back to Perth. We were abit unlucky as on the way a small stone hit our car windscreen and there is a small crack. Haiz… =S   Along the way there is traffic police catching people who drove above 120, lucky we didn’t get caught. =)

Around 1.30pm we finally reach Perth. We drive all the way to Muarry Street for last minutes shopping. When we reach Muarry Street is diffcult for us to park the car, in the end we park our cark 2 street away from the shopping area. After purchase the car park tickets we walk down to Muarry Street Shopping Mall. First thing we need to do is find Hungry Jack cause since the day we reach Perth, it keep showing on the TV. Keke… Finally we saw it, we order a double beef burger set with fries and coffee. There is no chilli and tomato sauce, I guess need to purchase from them. =P

The burger were juicy and abit salty, it has bacon and cheese. But overall is nice. =)   After the meal, we went around looking and shopping. We brought a sushi roll set for dinner as we afraid there wouldn’t be much food at the airport. After that, we back to the car, thinking where to go and we decided to go back King’s park to see the view of the Perth again. =)

Reach King’s Park, both of us still feel that it best and began to have the feeling don’t want go back to SG. Keke.. . No choice our holiday going to end soon. We took a few more photos around King’s Park before we return the car. Around 5pm we drove back to Baywater and return them the car also told them about the small crack and they charge us 50AUD. Haiz… no choice. They help us called a cab and we went down to Perth International Airport. Along the way I finally saw my company FedEx van. Keke… I have looking around for it the past few days. =P

When we reach the airport, the fare is the same 35AUD. I repacked my stuff as don’t wish to hand carry so much stuff. We had our sushi roll set as dinner and finish the bottle of Autumn Mist as early on we didn’t finish. After that, we walk around the airport to see if there is anything for us to buy. Nothing much as some of the shop has close.

It still early, we went to have some food again. We order and fish & chips set and Pir Pir chicken with Pasta. The food wasn’t really nice. Since the day we reach Perth till now, it the first time we had the food which is not nice. Lolx… After the meal we went to check in our stuff and shop around till 7.30pm we went in. After go through all the customs, we reach the Duty Free area of the airport. I brought chocolate and honey back. We were thinking if we should purchase a bottle of wine back to SG. The staff said we can bring back 1 bottle but after much consideration. We decided not as we afraid SG customs will charge us more.

After that we went to waiting area and wait for our flight. We stay around there about 1 hour, taking photos. We were bored and didn’t see our plane. keke… Hmm… Around 9.15pm I saw our plane and at around 9.30pm we began to board our plane. There is lots of people boarding the plane, it seem more pack. When the plane departure at 9.50pm, I hold on to Dear’s hand again as I’m scared.

After the plane get on top, we see the view of Perth. =)   After that Dear and I went to sleep. Both of us keep on wake up as the plane is kind of shaking can’t really sleep well. After 5 hour and 15 minutes, we finally reach SG at 3.10am, 11 Sep 2008. The view from top of SG is very nice as there is lots of lights around. =)   Landing was ok too. Both of us feel that, the plane we took from SG to Perth still the best. After getting down the plane, walk all the way to customs area, we went to Duty Free shop and each of us brought a bottle of hard liquor and we went to check x-ray for our luggage, I saw a couple decalre they brought wine and the officer said they couldn’t bring in. Luckily we didn’t buy any back. =P   When we went out, saw Dear’s parent were waiting for us. After that, they send me back and they went home. When I reach home, it a total different feeling. Keke… After wash up I went to sleep at around 4.15am…

For this whole trip we are the fated with number ” 7 “, our flight number, car, hotel all have ” 7 “. Only the day we reach Perth and the day we going to leave Perth rain awhile, other days were good and nice weather. Keke… If I never went out of SG, I wouldn’t know that the world is really very big and there is really nice places around the earth. Thank God, along the way we were safe and nothing happen to us. We met lot of nice and friendly people and took alot of photos and have upload most of them. =)    I really enjoy the trip with Dear, really very happy and have lots of fun. Only disappointment is we didn’t get to try Oyster Bar. Lolx.. I will sure go again as there is lots of places I go. Yup~! Really miss Perth alots.  Planning for the next holiday soon. Keke… Happy Happy.  ^-^  

On 23 Aug 2008, morning around 8 plus woke up… Slack awhile and went to prepare and go meet Dear. He made breakfast for me. =P   Around 2pm we went down to orchard and shopping… =D   It started to rain but it doesn’t stop us from going out. =P

Reach orchard, we went around Takashimaya to see if there is anything to buy… Hmm… but nothing much to buy.. Instead we went to buy some food to eat.. keke… =P   After that we went to Lucky Plaza to change money as we going Perth soon.. Hehe.. The exchange rate has drop abit… better
then went up.. =P    After we went Tangs walk walk too. =)

Around 4 plus we went to Far East Plaza walk around. Walk till 5.15pm went to a small japanese place for dinner. The place is intro by Vivan as she told me that the place sell nice japanese food that why Dear decided to bring go there for dinner. =)    The place open at 5.30pm, we were the first in the Q. Soon, lots of people start to Q behind us. Cool~!

Heard that the chief is not that friendly and don’t expect good service from them. We have already prepare before we went down. =P   Dear and I order
about 4 different types of foods. We order Chawanmushi, Salmon sashimi,
Assorted sashimi sushi rice set and cod fish claypot set.

First was the starter, oh my.. the starter was good. Both of us like it. After that, we have the chawanmushi. It was really good. Follow by the salmon sashimi, assorted sashimi sushi rice set and cod fish claypot set. Every bite we had, you will ‘Ding’. It was really very good. =)    We eat till abit full but we were afraid that chief will be angry and scold us for wasting of food, so Dear and I try to finish all the food. =P

The whole meal was very cheap. Oh my god. Both of us were really feel very happy and very full. =)    After that, we walk back to orchard mrt station and decided to go city hall to see firework. As usual we expect there will be alot alot of people. I though of not going to see as there will be lots of people. But Dear said it ok. =)

We reach esplanade around 8pm, find a good spot to see down and wait for time to pass as the firework display start at 9pm. Hmm… soon lots of people came.. At around 8.45pm, there was a uncle he walk across us, we though that we wanted to cross over so we let him. Never did us expect he just place his stuff and ask his mum and sons to sit infront of us and blocked our view. All of us were very angry. That uncle so thick skin and don’t even dare to see us. Arghh… >.<    Never mind… don’t want it spolit our mood..

At around 9.10pm I heard sound then I stand up and lots of people start to stand up too.. It true that the firework going to start. Dear and I stand on the stone and watch the firework work. Both of us also video it. The firework last about 15 to 20 mins… It was very nice. =)

After the firework, Dear and I walk to raffles place mrt station as it too far for us to walk back to city hall mrt station. To our suprised the station wasn’t really packed with lots of people. Hehe… Happy… =D 
Reach Pasir Ris, Dear accompany me wait for bus and he went home too..

Reach home, bath and relax awhile… at around 12 plus went to sleep.. Hmm.. Really really happy… count down to Perth in 10 days.. ^-^
